Practically, after the implementation of this function, we will be able to select photos or video clips from the Photos application that can be shared directly from it via WhatsApp Messenger without opening the application first.
By selecting any photos and video clips from the Photos application, and then pressing the share button in the application you will had displayed the option to send that multimedia content via WhatsApp Messenger. The option will be displayed next to the one for sharing via AirDrop, email or other applications, so it will be available natively in the operating system iOS 8, but only in him. At the moment, the WhatsApp company is testing this new function with its users, so it is currently only available in a beta version of the WhatsApp Messenger application.
If all the tests go according to WhatsApp's plans, then support for iOS 8 extensions will be implemented directly in a new version of the WhatsApp Messenger application.
