One of the annoying problems of iOS 8 has been solved by Google

iOS 8 GMT BUG

Last week I told you that iOS 8.1.3 it didn't solve one of the nagging problems of the operating system, but it seems that Google managed to solve it for its users. More precisely, we are talking about the so-called iOS 8 GMT bug, an issue that causes incorrect times to be displayed for calendar entries synchronized with Google Calendar or microsoft Exchange. The problem was not solved by Apple, but it was solved by Google directly from its own servers, the users who report the improved functionality without having to make any changes in their own terminals.

Google solved the problem during the past days for its users, but unfortunately those from Microsoft did not take a similar action to solve the iOS 8 GMT bug. Unfortunately, there is no method to solve the problem directly from your terminals without Microsoft making any changes in its servers, so until the moment those in Redmond recognize the problem, we will stay with it. The problem regarding the inappropriate times of entries in the Calendar application appeared after the release of iOS 8 for our iDevices, so we are talking about 4 months in which Google and Microsoft had problems solving their problems.
