Siri is the "personal assistant" of iOS, it was launched in 2011 and constantly improved by the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), with each new version of the operating system for its mobile terminals. iOS 8 seems to have brought the biggest change to Siri, and a recent test reveals that the iOS assistant understands English, Italian and Mandarin much better than Windows Phone Cortana or Google Now. The test a was comprised of 18 questions placed to each assistant in the three languages, and Siri had the highest score, being extremely close to correctly understanding each question.
In English Crab understand words marginally better than Cortana and slightly better than Google Now, but the differences in terms of Italian and Mandarin are big compared to the competitors. According to those who took the test, the results of the questions asked in German and French were similar for Crab, Cortana si Google Now still having slightly better results than the Apple product. What is interesting in this test is the fact that Mandarin is understood so well by Siri, this demonstrates the interest of the Apple company in offering the Chinese an assistant that understands their language extremely well.
