Qualcomm Sense ID – ultrasonic fingerprint reader

Qualcomm Sense ID is a new product launched during this day at Mobile World Congress 2015 by the company that produces chips for most mobile terminal manufacturers around the world. According to the company, Qualcomm Sense ID is the first fingerprint reader for mobile terminals that uses ultrasonic technology to "map" our fingerprints. The interesting part is that Sense ID can record information about fingerprints even if the fingers are wet or dirty, sapphire or glass not being able to affect its functionality in any way.

Snapdragon Sense ID 3D Fingerprint Technology's unique use of ultrasonic technology revolutionizes biometrics from 2D to 3D, allowing for greater accuracy, privacy and stronger authentication. We are very proud to bring the mobile industry's first ultrasonic-based biometric authentication technology to mobile device manufacturers and their customers, who will benefit from the improved and differentiated user experience.

Qualcomm Sense ID it is so effective that it can be mounted in almost any part of a smartphone and can work without problems, so its attachment to the screen can become a reality. To be honest, I'm glad to see that there are beginning to be alternatives to what Apple uses in iPhones because its competitors have failed to offer an experience at least as good. In this idea, I hope that this Qualcomm Sense ID will allow the competitors of the American company to offer mobile terminals with more accurate and easier to use fingerprint readers.
