iOS 3 vs iOS 8 - animations and how they affect our use (Video)

From iOS 3 and up iOS 8 Apple has radically changed the way animations are displayed and work in its operating system, and this is not to the benefit of users, as you will see from the video clip above. In practice, iOS 8 has animations that are played for a longer period of time than in the past, and this makes it difficult to use the operating system, prevents quick interaction with it. If you happened to try to do something quickly on your terminals and the iDevice seemed not to register the touches made on the screen, well, the problem was not with the screen itself, but with iOS.

The screen refuses to register, in certain cases, touches until an animation has finished running, so in some situations we cannot open an application or switch from one menu to another until the animation has been completely run. This rule has always existed in iOS, but from iOS 3 to iOS 8 the duration of animations increased significantly, so that for certain actions the running time of animations increased significantly. Of course, the only solutions to solve problems of this kind involve jailbreak and installing some tweaks such as Speed Intensifier, but not everyone is willing to exploit their terminal in such a way.
