Samsung implemented in Samsung Galaxy S6 a fingerprint scanning system similar to the one used for iPhone 6 and Touch ID, but how well is the new unlocking terminal doing? As you can already see, the iPhone 6 unlocks much faster than the Samsung Galaxy S6 in all the tests done at Mobile World Congress 2015, so things are as clear as possible.
Samsung has now implemented the option to scan a fingerprint in the Samsung Galaxy S6 just by placing your finger on the Home button, instead of a swipe done in the past, but the reader itself does not seem to be fast. The Samsung Galaxy S6 doesn't scan fingerprints as fast as the iPhone 6 and it doesn't unlock from the Lockscreen as fast, but probably not many people are really that amazed. Despite the fact that the iPhone 6 is faster than the Samsung Galaxy S6 in this task, the reality is that few will notice the difference in everyday use, it having a minimal impact on our experience.
