SevenSpotlight is a tweak released during this evening in Cydia to bring the iOS 7 Spotlight to iOS 8, and in the image above you can see exactly what kind of change he proposes. As you probably already know, Apple has implemented a new interface for Spotlight iOS 8, this being improved and with better functionality, but not to everyone's liking. If you are among those who do not like the new interface designed by Apple, then using SevenSpotlight you can return everything to the way it was available in iOS 7.
bring back ios 7 spotlight gesture blur and appearance to ios 8 with SevenSpotlight. disables blur until search typed in like ios 7. allows icons to be dragged further down like ios 7. tested on iphone 4s ipad 2 and iphone 5s on ios 8 but should work with all devices on ios 8.
