Hoptroff sells the most expensive smartwatch in the world

Hoptroff smartwatch

Hoptroff is a British company you've probably never heard of, but it's been marketing the most expensive smartwatch in the world for some time, asking $21.700 for the product you see in the image above. Made of gold, the smartwatch is able to interconnect with iPhone terminals to retrieve data from the Calendar application, and its needles will show the time and the name of the person with whom you have to meet. The idea itself is not bad, though I think most would prefer a screen that displays information instead of the two needles that will let you guess people's names a lot and well.

Although the basic version costs 21.700 dollars, for the platinum model those interested must pay no less than 54.000 dollars, the manufacturing process of the product lasting no less than 3 months. Apple Watch Edition could cost between 5000 dollars and 20.000 dollars, and if we compare it with what Hoptroff offers, we can draw the conclusion that almost anyone will want Apple's product, if they don't mind the autonomy of the battery. Having said that, if you think that the gold version of the Apple Watch will be expensive, well, there are more expensive alternatives with much fewer useful functions.
