iOS 8.3 beta 4 – Apple continues changes to emoji characters

iOS 8.3 beta 4 delimited emoji

In iOS 8.3 the Apple company has implemented a multitude of changes that we talked about in a separate series of articles, and among them there are no less than 300 emoji characters created for various ethnicities around the globe, some of them upsetting certain categories of people who thought Apple was becoming racist. Without taking into account criticism of this kind, the Apple company made a new subtle change for the emoji characters in iOS beta 8.3 4, so that now those modified by her are delimited from those that were previously available to users.

In the image above you can see exactly what the change is about, the first emoji character being the one natively available for so long in the iOS operating system, the other 5 representing its variations with different colors to represent different types of people on the globe. Apart from this change, the Apple company has resumed displaying in the iOS virtual keyboard the list of emoji characters most frequently used by us while writing messages, so you will no longer have to search for them through the entire list of emoji characters.

These changes will be available to all users around the world as soon as iOS 8.3 is publicly released by Apple, but for now no one knows when this will happen.
