Apple Watch it has a starting price of 349 dollars in the cheapest version, and you probably expected that if you have to repair or replace the product, you will not have to pay a lot for the whole operation, right? Well the answer is no, because the prices charged by the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), for replacement or repair Apple Watch they are big, much bigger than in the case of iPhones or even iPad tablets sold all over the world.
In the image above, you can see the prices charged by the Apple company for replacement or repair Apple Watch, as you can see, a user will have to pay 300 dollars to replace a broken Apple Watch, the repair price being 229 dollars. These prices are, of course, minimum and only consider the Apple Watch Sport, because switching to higher models generates replacement costs of at least 500 dollars and repair costs of at least 29 dollars.
In the case of the Apple Watch Edition, the replacement cost varies between 8000 dollars and 10.000 dollars, while the repair of the product costs 2800 dollars in both cases, so here the users will not pay anything different. If we think that in the case of iPhones, Apple charges a replacement fee that amounts to only half of the value of the product, here is that in the case of the Apple Watch you can buy a new one because the price difference would be minimal.
The bigger problem is that all these prices in dollars are not equivalent in euros because in Europe the values are much higher, more precisely at least 280 euros for repair and over 300 euros for complete replacement.
