Apple Watch was designed by the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), with a special port that seems to be found even in the models sent to those who make reviews, but also in the stores in the 9 countries where the product can be tried from Friday by those interested. In the image above you can see this port, it being implemented for the diagnosis of watches in view of more efficient development, and it will not be found in the units delivered by the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), customers because they do not have the necessary accessories to connect to them.
Last month it was speculated that these ports were implemented with the idea of allowing the development of smart belts which allow to improve the functionality Apple Watch, but this seems unlikely at the moment, the Apple company avoiding providing details about the existence of the port. Whether this port will be useful in the future remains to be seen, but it is clear that it will not be present in the final version of the Apple Watch delivered to users around the world, but perhaps an Apple Watch 2 will offer it to us for improved functionality in the future .
