CyNotifier helps you quickly update your packages installed through Cydia

CyNotifier

CyNotifier is a new tweak al Cydia available from this week for our terminals, giving us the opportunity to quickly find out when a package installed in the terminals requires an update, the developer creating the tweak with support for sending Push notifications when an update is available.

CyNotifier is thought to regularly check in Cydia to find out if there are updates for the packages installed in our iDevices, so at certain periods of time the repos of our Cydia application will be checked by the tweak, and at the time of discovery a new update we will see a notification for it.

  • Checks for Cydia updates in the background and notifies the user
  • Configurable update time (from 1 hour up to a day)
  • Option to exclude packages or repos from the update check
  • Option to manually update using the settings or by using a:
  • Flipswitch. Automatically update when your device joins a WiFi network, when it's unlocked or however you want using Activator.

According to the description made by the developer, CyNotifier allows us to choose the time periods in which checks are made for updates available in Cydia, so you will be able to control its functionality and this will not affect battery autonomy or performance through constant checks.

Regarding the update, we have options to exclude certain repos or packages from checking and if you are keen to have the latest updates for your packages quickly, the tweak gives you the possibility to set the update to be done automatically when we connect to a Wi-Fi network or whenever we unlock the terminals.

CyNotifier is available for download from the repo ModMyi al Cydia.
