The LG G4 is advertised using the image of Steve Jobs

LG G4

LG G4 is the company's latest smartphone LG and although many will probably be unhappy to hear this, the South Korean company uses the image of the late Steve Jobs to promote their new product on the market. An apparently close person at LG would have said that Steve Jobs would have liked it LG G4 if the former CEO of Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), he would still be alive, but we all know that this is improbable.

Despite this, promoting a new smartphone like the LG G4 using the image of one of the most famous former presidents of companies in the world it is a method low enough to generate interest vis-à-vis a terminal that will never have the popularity of the iPhone. Those from LG take here a "leaf" from the story of those from Samsung who promoted their smartphones by attacking Apple customers, ending up not winning much.

"If Steve Jobs were alive today, even he would have liked the G4." An industry official close to the South Korean tech giant LG Electronics made the remark ahead of the official unveiling event of the firm's flagship smartphone, the G4, showing confidence in the new marquee device.

Considering that Steve Jobs has a lot of fans including in South Korea, it will be interesting to see what will be the reaction of the locals vis-à-vis the statements of people quoted by an important publication in the country. In general, Apple's competitors avoided using the image of the former CEO to promote their products, and this out of respect for him, but in this case we are talking about a different strategy.

What do you think about the LG G4? Do you think Steve Jobs would have been a fan of another Android smartphone trying to compete with the iPhone with a leather case?
