In the case of applications such as Find My iPhone, Google Maps, Waze, Reminders, Passbook, Weather or even Safari the location always in the background might be necessary to provide certain functions. The choice of how the GPS module is used by applications is very important because it can even give you up to an extra hour of use, so it's good to know how to manage your resources.
