That information is contradicted by others provided by sources inside the Apple company, which claim that at WWDC 2015 we will have a lot of surprises.
According to these sources, the release of iOS 8.4 is still scheduled for June 8, when the opening conference of WWDC 2015 takes place, but it will be dedicated only to application developers for the iOS platform. The new Music app of iOS 8.4 and the streaming service prepared by Apple will be offered to developers for testing, with the official launch to take place at the end of June.
iOS 8.4 "Copper" has been in the hands of developers with an entirely new design for the Music application for the past several weeks, while the new Apple TV and Mac apps are still not ready for primetime. The beta version of iOS 8.4 in the hands of developers is only a taste of the new design, according to sources, and the different options and tabs across the application will be tweaked to better feature streaming music over music stored offline.
Because the new streaming service is so important, he representing a combination between iTunes Radio and Beats Music, Apple is preparing a launch that will include a long list of countries around the globe. Apart from the streaming service, Apple is also preparing a multitude of news for iTunes Radio, the availability of this service will be extended in June, Romania being among the countries that will have it available then.
It seems that the changes present in the current version of the Music application from iOS 8.4 represent only part of the changes that will be offered to us, Apple intends to make others until June 8 to bring the streaming service to the fore. This multimedia streaming service will be sold at the price of 10 dollars in the USA and variations of this figure in various countries around the world, but it is unlikely that it will reach Romania.
Apple is also turning full attention to polishing up iOS 9 "Monarch" ahead of its WWDC introduction, which sources now say will include a redesigned Siri application that closely mimics the more colorful user interface of Siri on the Apple Watch. We're also told that the new release has a default wallpaper made up of a blue and green color scheme. Apple has also been working overtime on major security improvements.
Separately, Apple is preparing the launch iOS beta 9 1 on June 8, the new version of the operating system seriously improving security, but also having a version of Siri that has a radically modified interface. It seems that Apple is trying to implement in the Siri interface the colors used for the Activity a application Apple Watch, a predefined wallpaper for iOS 9 based on exactly the same colors.
Having said that, in the coming weeks we will learn new details both about iOS 8.4 and iOS 9, as well as about OS X 10.11, Apple TV 4 and everything that Apple has prepared new.
