Apple has more money than Google and Microsoft combined

Apple top monetary fund companies - iDevice.roIn Q1 2015 the company Apple presented financial results record for a beginning of the year, its monetary reserve increasing to no less than 178 billion dollars, the vast majority of these funds being available in countries outside the US. The figure is colossal and according to an agency specialized in analyzing the financial market in the USA, Apple is in the top of the American companies that have the largest monetary reserves on the American continent.

As you can see from the image above, the monetary funds of the Apple company are almost double those of Microsoft, which has 90 billion dollars in accounts, and almost 3 times higher than those of Google, which has 64.4 billion of dollars. The interesting part is that Apple has a monetary reserve greater than that of Google and Microsoft combined, only the addition of Pfizer being enough to surpass it.

At the moment, Apple has in its accounts 10.2% of the total monetary funds of the big companies in the USA, and this is really impressive for a company that two decades ago was close to bankruptcy. From 2009 until now, Apple's cash reserve has increased by 138 billion dollars, and from 2011 until now, no other company has managed to surpass it in terms of cash reserves.

Apple remained the cash king in 2014, with $178 billion in cash, or 10.2% of all the cash held by US corporates at year-end, Moody's Investors Service said Thursday. To put it in perspective: "Apple's $178 billion is greater than the aggregate cash of every industry sector excluding technology and health care/pharmaceuticals," the study found. Apple's AAPL, +0.62% cash balance has grown by $138 billion since 2009, and the tech giant has held the title of top cash holder since 2011, according to Moody's.

The launch of iPhone, iPad and new Mac models has helped the Apple company earned hundreds of billions of dollars in the last 7 years, but of course its smartphones were the "stars" of the receipts. Without the iPhone, the Apple company would not have had revenues nearly as good as those shown in the image above, the latest models of its terminals having the greatest success so far.
