iPhone - here are which models are active and which are the most used

After 8 years of the iPhone's existence, today we have the opportunity to see an overview of the division of terminal models still in use, an American company managing to provide a series of extremely interesting data. According to unofficial figures, approximately 475 million iPhone terminals would be active all over the world, the figure being an impressive one for the Apple company.

In the image below you have a division by model of all the terminals that are active at the moment and notice that iPhone 6 it has a rather small advantage over the iPhone 5S, but it is surprising. If we consider that the iPhone 5S has been sold by Apple for more than a year and a half and has a lower usage rate than the iPhone 6, then we understand why this terminal is so popular.

According to the data of the American agency, we have the following usage rates for iPhone terminals: iPhone 6 – 25.7%, iPhone 5S – 23.8%, iPhone 5 – 14.1%, iPhone 4S – 10.9%, iPhone 6 Plus – 9.5%, iPhone 5C – 8.8% , iPhone 4 – 6.8%, the rest of the iPhone terminal models add up to only 0.% of the total active ones.

To be honest, I'm surprised that the iPhone 6 Plus didn't manage to attract a larger number of users, but maybe this is to be expected considering its screen size. It is well known that iPhone fans prefer the right sized screens, and the iPhone 6 proved it to have the right screen for 2015, but it is not known how the trends will evolve in the future.

However, with 475 million iPhone terminals, potentially, active worldwide, the Apple company has in front of it an enormous number of users who could upgrade to new models of its terminals in the future. iPhone 6S it is announced to be a much more important upgrade than thought and if things will stay like this, then there are many owners of iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S terminals who could switch to it.
