The new model of receipts positions the elements in a format that is easier to read and understand, displays album images or application icons in high resolution and not only that. Regarding the emails sent with these receipts, the Apple company has replaced the receipt number with a simple mention of the location of the purchase, the receipt number now being listed in a field called Document No.
The most important part of the change is still related to an entry that the Apple company did not make in the past, it lists the type of product from which the purchase was made in its virtual store. By making this list, the Apple company helps users identify more easily if there is any suspicion of fraud regarding their account, and this is because unknown terminals can be more easily checked on receipts.
