Apple Music - here's what audio format the songs you listen to will have

Apple Music iTunes Match streamingApple Music it is meant to work in a similar way to iTunes Match in terms of audio streaming, so users will be able to listen to music at 256 KBPS. iTunes Match also offers the same, but the quality is poorer than the 320 KBPS offered by Beats Music or Spotify, Tidal offering the option to listen to music at an even better quality directly from our mobile terminals.

Although Beats Music plays the music much more clearly for its customers and in the case of downloading it offers the songs at an even better quality, those from Apple have a different approach to the "problem", so they will use the technology available for iTunes Match.

Considering that for many users the quality of the stream is very important, it will be interesting to see how Apple Music will be viewed in the conditions where the songs will not be played as clearly as with competitors.

Apple Music will be at 256 kbps. In comparison, Beats Music uses a 320 kbps bitrate, as does Spotify, while Tidal offers a high-bitrate option.

At the moment, iTunes Match plays audio in 256kbps AAC format, so people who were subscribers to this service will not feel any difference if they decide to try Apple Music, and it is likely that those who used iTunes Radio will not see any difference either.

Considering that most of the songs sold by Apple through the iTunes Store are 256 kbps, it was clear that we won't have anything different in Apple Music, but the interesting part is that Apple's solution is better than Spotify's, offering songs that are played clearer and takes up less space in the terminals.
