iOS 9 and the new way to select photos with a gesture (Video)

iOS 9 photo selection gestureiOS 9 now has a new way to select pictures from the photo library using a simple gesture that can be made next to one of the pictures that are displayed in the Pictures, Photos application. More precisely, long pressing on a picture will select it, and without taking your finger off the screen you can select one or multiple pictures by moving your finger over all the pictures or video clips you want to share.

Practically our finger takes the role of a cursor, and in Windows or Mac the same thing can be done by holding down the selection button of a mouse and moving it over all the files we want to select.

To be honest, I am amazed that among iOS 9 news such a gesture that allows us to very quickly and precisely select pictures or video clips from the Photos application is also counted, in order to quickly send them to whoever we want.

Until today, it was necessary to manually select each picture that we wanted to send, but now we have granular control over how the pictures and video clips are selected, and I consider the change to be welcome.

What do you think about the new system for selecting pictures and video clips available in iOS 9?
