Apple Watch hack brings iFile, SceneKit and UiKit (Video)

Apple Watch file managerYesterday I presented a hack for the Apple Watch that allowed native applications to run developed by the creator Cydia together with other application developers for the iOS platform.

Today I present to you a Finder application, practically an iFile for managing the internal files of the operating system, but also the way in which SceneKit or UiKit can be run on Apple's Apple Watch, all being done without giving details about the way implementation of the hack.

The developers who managed to implement this hack did not provide details about how they did it all, but since Apple already offers a special SDK that allows running native applications in Watch 2.0, it is clear that we are talking about a manipulation of it.

By creating a Finder application, similar to the one that allows the management of internal files of OS X, the developers managed to display on the screen Apple Watch the files on which the Apple product works, the management options being limited.

Although the Apple Watch was released more than 2 months ago, for pre-order, until now no one has shown any interest in releasing any jailbreak solution dedicated to it, TaiG hackers focusing on iOS 9 jailbreak instead of creating a solution dedicated to the watch.

My [Nano]FileBrowser app running on Apple Watch natively (as modeled by @b3ll). So… spent a night hacking with @b3ll (& @saurik!) – we got UIKit (& SceneKit) apps running on Apple Watch (video). I picked SceneKit as a specific example of something you can't do through WatchKit. Also because I love SceneKit, as you all should!

Having said that, the Apple Watch can become very useful with dedicated native applications, but it remains to be seen when they will be available and you must know that all those offered through the App Store are very limited.
