BitTorrent Shoot is an application available since last night for smartphones around the world, allowing users to quickly transfer files between iOS, Android or Windows Phone platforms.

The bad part of the whole concept, however, lies in the fact that users have to scan a QR code on the terminal from which the data is sent, so sharing information between remote terminals is impossible, something offered by other titles.
Considering that anyone can send large files by email anywhere in the world, applications of this kind have an extremely limited utility because they prevent the sending of files outside the range of Bluetooth or WiFi.
The benefit of BitTorrent Shoot is the secure transfer of data between terminals, if you are connected to a public WiFi through which anyone can monitor the data transfer to retrieve your information.

BitTorrent Shoot is currently sold on various platforms and although it is offered for free, the function of transferring files of unlimited sizes must be bought through an in-app purchase, otherwise it cannot be used.
Those at BitTorrent motivated their decision by the fact that they offer additional security features for users, but it remains to be seen how many will appreciate this and pay to UNLOAD the application on your own terminals.
