Blocked implements an advanced security system in iOS

blockedblocked is a tweak available since last night in Cydia for our iPhone, iPad and iPod Touches, and with its help we can implement an advanced security system for the terminals running the system iOS 8.

More precisely, Blocked has two working modes, one called SleepMode and one called GuestMode, each of them coming with its own set of functions that help us secure the data available in the terminals, so that no one can access them without our consent.

SleepMode is the first system of the Blocked tweak, it gives us the possibility to block certain functions of the iDevices when it is active, and here we are talking about the fingerprint reader, Notifications Center, Control Center, access to messages or access to the settings application .

Separately, SleepMode also has a programming system available, so that it can be activated or deactivated automatically according to the times set by us, so it will not be necessary to interact with it every time.

SleepMode allows you to block certain features, like the Fingerprint sensor so no one can force you to unlock your device by forcing your finger on the sensor. It is also possible to Block Access to the Notification Center and Control Center so no one messes with your messages and settings. SleepMode also has a scheduled feature so you can specify a time range from when to when the SleepMode should be automatically enabled.

GuestMode is the second system of Blocked, it being thought for the situations in which we offer the phone to someone to make a call or view pictures, this allowing us to block access to any applications, Notifications Center or Control Center depending on the needs .

GuestMode is for the typical "may I use your phone to place a call" situation. It allows you to disable access to a configurable list of Apps and also block things like the Notification Center and Control Center.

Blocked is available for download for $3 from Cydia's BigBoss repo.
