Apple celebrates the legalization of same-sex marriages

Apple gay flagYesterday, the US Supreme Court of Justice made a historic decision, declaring same-sex marriage to be legal, and a multitude of Silicon Valley companies thought to celebrate the decision in their own ways.

Most of them changed their main images on social networks by applying the colors of the rainbow as their background, but the Apple company thought it would be something more special, so it raised a special flag also used for pride parades in front of the headquarters in Cupertino.

Tim Cook was a strong supporter of equal rights between the sexes and supported the legalization of marriages between people of the same sex, so that after the court's decision was announced, he praised it on Twitter, including a quote from Steve Jobs.

Today marks a victory for equality, perseverance and love. "The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do."

Tim Cook published that read about people "crazy" enough who manage to change the world through the strong conviction they have that they can do so, and the analogy with the decision taken in the USA is very good, considering the struggle until the moment of making this decision.

Apple was not afraid to show it support for the LGBT movement nor for marriages between people of the same sex, its employees having different sexual orientations, but also openness to new things and acceptance of the way of life of others, even if it is different from theirs.
