Apple Music - how to hide the Connect menu and listen to songs with explicit content

Apple Music hide Connect songs explicit contentApple Music was launched last night by the Apple company together with iOS 8.4, and some users were not happy with the default settings that Apple set for its new audio streaming service.

I start with the service Connect, allowing us to follow feeds with information of our favorite artists, who publish there images, video clips or teasers for songs under production, the idea being to bring users closer to their favorite artists.

Not everyone is satisfied with the existence of this menu in the Music application, so some would like to disable it, and this is possible by following the instructions below.

Hide the Connect menu from Apple Music

  1. Open the application Settings, Configurations.
  2. Go in Settings > General > Restrictions, Configurations > General > Restrictions.
  3. Set a security code for menu management, if you don't have one already set.
  4. Uncheck the box Apple Music Connect and the menu will disappear from the Music application.

Now, if you want to listen to songs in Apple Music that have explicit content, i.e. all those that contain swearing, there is the option to hide or show these songs, implicitly the Apple company activating the option and playing all the songs that contain such expressions.

If you are not satisfied with this, then you can enable or disable the playback of songs with explicit content as you like by following the instructions below:

  1. Open the application Settings, Configurations.
  2. Go in Settings > General > Restrictions, Configurations > General > Restrictions.
  3. Set a security code for menu management, if you don't have one already set.
  4. In the Allowed Content field, access the sub-menu Music and Podcasts, Music & Podcasts.
  5. In the open menu, you must have the green button, as in the image above, for the songs with explicit content to be played.
