iPod Touch 6G, iPod Nano Gold iTunes 12.2iPod Touch 6G, iPod Nano gold and other iPod models were discovered in iTunes 12.2, the Apple company preparing for the launch a series of new products from a category that was designated by many as being on the verge of extinction.

iTunes 12.2 was launched last night to allow access to Apple Music from PC or Mac, and when a user connects an iPod to their computer, they see the image above in the iTUnes program, a variety of iPods being presented.

The interesting part is that at the moment there is no dark blue iPod Touch, a gold iPod Nano and a pink iPod Shuffle, so Apple is preparing the launch of new products in the fall of this year to bring back to life the line of iPods.

The image is non-existent in old versions of iTunes, so we are talking about something introduced only now together with Apple Music, so the engineers in Cupertino are preparing a change for the product line of the Apple company, although it is not known when it will take place.

At the moment there is no information to indicate that new models of the iPod would be prepared by the Apple company, but some models of the iPod Nano are available in limited quantities in Apple Stores, so there is a possibility that an update will be In progress.

Un iPod Touch 6G it could have an A8 chip implemented in the iPhone 6 or an A7 chip from the iPhone 5S, the current iPod Touch 5G having the old A5 chip. Regarding the iPod Nano, we are probably only talking about the color change, it being so popular in China that it could generate an increase in sales.

If Apple will release a gold iPod Touch 6G and iPod Nano, then they could be unveiled in the fall, along with iPhone 6S.

UPDATED: It seems that these new colors: dark blue, gold and pink, will be available for all three types of products.
