42% of Americans with iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have used Apple Pay

Apple Pay EuropeApple Pay is the mobile payment system launched by the Apple company together with iPhone 6 si 6 iPhone Plus, being available in the US until a few weeks ago when it was also launched in Europe.

Apple Pay was received with great enthusiasm by the Americans and it seems that, according to a recent study, 42% of those who own one of the two terminals have tried the mobile payment system at least once in one of the partner stores of the at Apple.

From the total number of those who used it Apple Pay at least once, 84% claim to have used Apple Pay for more than three transactions in American stores, while 76% of them have used the system to make payments inside applications that have integrated support.

The study carried out now is the third of this year, the first two being carried out in February and April, in those cases the number of users who used the Apple Pay system at least once was 42%, identical to that recorded by this time in the USA.

It's not surprising that the first cohort to own the newest iPhone would be eager to try Apple Pay, so we were particularly interested in comparing trial to adoption rates. Eighty-four percent of Apple Pay users reported having made more than three transactions in stores, and 76% have used it more than three times in-app, suggesting that the abandonment rate is low.

The results of the study demonstrate the fact that in the US those who were interested in testing Apple Pay at least once remained largely loyal to the system and continue to use it for transactions, over two thirds of them making multiple transactions through Apple Pay.

Considering that Apple Pay has been extended in Great Britain, the number of users will continue to increase thanks to the simplicity of use, so we will probably see even better information for the Apple company in the future.
