iPad Air 3 could remain a dream in 2015

iPad Air 3 2015iPad Air 3 is the logical evolution of the iPad Air 2 tablet, the Apple company theoretically having to launch the new model on the market in the fall of this year, keeping the launch strategy of the past years for its iPad tablets.

Although many expect that iPad Air 3 to be launched this year, it seems that Apple does not really intend to bring its product to the market, being mainly worried about tablet sales that continue to decrease, preferring to keep the iPad Air 2 for another year in its offer.

The iPad Air 2 has an A8X chip with a triple-core processor and 2GB of RAM, and the iPad Air 3 should come with an A9 or A9X chip that has a triple-core processor and 2GB of DDR 4 RAM, the score obtained by this new face in the synthetic tests being extremely close to the one obtained by the old face.

Practically, if Apple were to launch the iPad Air 3 this year, it would have to bring other improvements apart from better performing hardware and it probably has nothing new to come up with in other segments to amaze its consumers, so it prefers to be conservative, considering that tablet sales are not great.

The sources pointed out that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), has turned conservative about its tablet product line and is not planning to release a next-generation model to replace the existing iPad Air tablet; however, Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is ready to release its fourth-generation iPad mini and the related supply chain is already preparing the device's components. The fourth-generation model will only have a few small upgrades from the third-generation one.

Considering that, probably, the iPad Air 3 would have little chance to increase tablet sales, the Apple company is focusing on iPad Mini 4, the new tablet to be launched this year with a major increase in performance and a design almost identical to that of the iPad Air 2.

If Apple no longer invests in the development of new functions for its tablets, then the future of this type of product looks bleak, and keeping the iPad Air 2 on sale with the iPad Mini 4 update has little chance of revitalizing tablet sales for the Apple company.
