iCloud allows the recovery of contacts, calendars and other deleted files

iCloud restore file contactsiCloud it allows us to save data from our terminals in Apple's servers, and here we are talking about contacts, calendars, photos, video clips, documents, passwords and a multitude of other files or data that exist in iPhones, iPads or iPod Touches.

Of course, all this data can be deleted at any time by the users, and if until recently we did not have the possibility to recover deleted data from iDevices with iCloud enabled, the Apple company changed this and implemented a system that allows us to restore everything that was deleted in the last 30 days.

The menu for recovery of contacts, calendars and other files deleted from iCloud is accessible on this page, in the lower part there are three links called Restore Files, Restore Contacts and Restore Calendars and Reminders, all three leading to the same menu.

After opening this menu, you will see the most recent saves made by iCloud for the files available in your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch and you will have a Restore button next to each available save to restore those data.

By pressing the Restore button next to a save, you will restore the old data by deleting the current ones, so you will not be able to choose one or more deleted contacts, but you will have to restore all the old data in the terminals and delete again what is no longer you need.

The system is extremely useful, including for files saved in iCloud Drive, because it helps us to recover important data that would have been deleted, but only if this deletion was made a maximum of 30 days ago, any older files being lost.

Apple has not officially presented this function and theoretically it should be available even for iOS 8, although I have tested it for now only with iOS 9, but it seems unlikely that it will be a system dedicated to the new version of iOS.
