We start with the operating system, Apple TV 4 going to run a version of iOS 9 which contains a completely improved interface, clearly superior to any other existing on the market, it also allows the development of applications that will be available in a dedicated App Store similar to the one available for iPhone or iPad.
In order to support these major changes, Apple will implement an A8 chip Apple TV 4 together with a storage environment of greater capacity, superior processing power allowing the running of all new applications, the interface, and Siri.
To control the new Apple TV? A new remote. It's slightly bigger and thicker, with physical buttons on the bottom half, a Touchpad area at the top and a Siri microphone. One thing that hasn't been talked about yet is the fact that the new remote will be motion sensitive, likely including several axis' worth of sensors that put its control on par with a Nintendo Wii remote.
For Apple TV 4 Apple has created a larger and slightly thicker remote control, this one having physical buttons in the lower part, but also a touchpad in the upper part that allows to control the user interface by touches, a microphone is also available for control through Siri.
Using voice commands, we will be able to control the entire Apple TV 4 with the help of Siri, which will also search through stores for content, which it will be able to run later, but Apple will also offer us the possibility to control everything through gestures made using the remote control.
This new Apple TV 4 remote control is described as being similar to the one created for the famous Wii console, so it would include a sensor that will allow us to detect our gestures and control the user interface without pressing any button.
Practically, Apple TV 4 will represent a major evolution for Apple TV and the Apple company should sell it at the same price of 99 dollars or euros, starting next month.
