A former Apple employee explains how Apple decides to implement new functions in the iPhone or other products

Decision to implement new technologiesWith each new product launched on the market the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), it also brings a series of new or better implemented technologies in its products, some being completely new, others being takeovers and adaptations of other existing technologies in competitors' products.

A former employee of the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), spoke in a recent interview about how the American company chooses to implement new technologies in its products, placing more emphasis on the experience the user has using that function than on the technology itself.

In this idea, the American company makes sure that the entire user experience is great with that function, otherwise it is not implemented even if the technology behind it is popular, or widely used in other smartphones on the market.

In this idea, an example of the implementation of a solar charging system is given Apple Watch, the American company taking the decision not to implement this technology because it would have spoiled the experience of using the product, requiring charging in this way only in certain positions relative to the sun and for long periods of time.

In any product you make, you have to make sure the experience is more compelling than the feature. If I had an iPod that required solar-charging, and I had to just leave it in the window sill for five hours, or [if] I had to position myself so that I was hitting the sun when listening to music, that would be a sh—- experience.

In the same way, the former employee says that Apple does not promote certain functions if they are not 100% sure that they offer the respective functionality, and here we are talking about the waterproofness of the Apple Watch, the smart watch working at a certain distance under water, but because one is 10) % waterproof, the function has not been promoted.

Apple acts in this way with all the products it prepares for launch on the market, some technologies being tested many years before they actually arrive in one product or another, many of them never arriving.
