Blackberry Android smartphone launchBlackberry confirm the launch of a Android smartphone, this just a few weeks after his CEO unequivocally denied the possible launch of such a mobile terminal by his company.

Company Blackberry made the announcement during the conference to present the financial results for Q3 2015, the new Android smartphone will reach the market by the end of this year, as estimated by many American analysts, although the Canadian company vehemently denied the information.

Those from Blackberry are preparing an Android smartphone that has the code name Venice, this one having a physical keyboard in a slide-out format that you can see in the image above, so we are talking about a smartphone dedicated mainly to business people.

We are focused on making faster progress to achieve profitability in our handset business. From these initiatives, we anticipate modest sequential revenue growth in each of the remaining quarters of fiscal 2016. If I can't make money on the phone, I will be out of that telephone handset business.

The Blackberry CEO stated that the new smartphone will be a perfect combination between the versatility of the Android operating system and the security of a Blackberry smartphone, so users should have a very good user experience after purchase.

No one knows when Blackberry Venice would be launched on the market or what price it would have, but based on the current information we can expect a versatile mobile terminal with a multitude of functions and advanced security from Blackberry.
