Huawei puts pressure on Apple and Samsung

Huawei smartphoneHuawei occupies the third position in the list of the largest smartphone manufacturers in the world, being at a great distance from Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), and Samsung, but Q3 2015 brought a substantial increase in its mobile terminal sales in various areas around the globe.

According to some preliminary information, smartphone sales increased by 81% in China and 98% in Europe in Q3 2015, those from Huawei registering a 25% increase in sales, all these percentages being the result of comparisons made with the same period last year.

Those from Huawei they climbed to the third position, dethroning the company Xiaomi which had a spectacular increase in sales during the last year, a sign that the smartphones from Huawei have become more and more attractive in various markets on the planet.

According to the latest estimates, Huawei would sell 100 million smartphones in 2015, 33% more than in 2014, the increase in sales being higher than the estimated one for those from Apple, Xiaomi or Lenovo, this being surprising.

Third-quarter deliveries climbed 81 percent and 98 percent in China and Europe respectively from a year ago. About a third of the quarterly shipments were mid- to high-end models, Huawei said, up from 25 percent a year earlier. It's hard to find a solid contender to Huawei for the top three position (after Samsung and Apple) in the short term. That's impressive growth.

The interesting part for Huawei is that the revenues generated by smartphone sales doubled in the first half of 2015 compared to the first half of 2014, so that for the future Huawei seems to have a solid growth strategy.

The main problem of the majority of Android terminal manufacturers is obtaining profit from the sale of smartphones, and those from Huawei seem to have a healthy increase in revenue, so probably the profit is not that small either, so the evolution will be interesting to.
