Apple is reducing iPhone 6S orders

apple orders iPhone 6SApple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), reduced terminal orders iPhone 6S si 6S iPhone Plus at one of its Asian partners, the Pegatron company closing some production lines for terminals at the factory in Shanghai, China.

Moreover, Pegatron would have limited employment in that region for production iPhone 6S si 6S iPhone Plus due to a reduction in the orders made by the Apple company for the manufacture of the two smartphone models.

Those from Pegatron stated that the closing of the respective lines is done because the employees were moved to a factory in Kushan, located relatively nearby, arguing that the factory in Shanghai did not have enough space to continue production at this rate.

The Chinese press does not believe in the explanations of those from Pegatron and claims that in reality Apple would have reduced the initial orders of terminals iPhone 6S si 6S iPhone Plus, so that Peagtron would have to fire some of its employees who no longer work on those production lines.

Pegatron has stopped operating some iPhone 6s production lines at its factory in Shanghai, eastern China, and limited its recruiting for workers for the related production due to smaller than originally expected demand for iPhone 6s, according to China-based media reports. In response, Pegatron clarified that some of the iPhone 6s production lines at the Shanghai factory have been moved to a factory in Kunshan, eastern China, because room for production capacity at the Shanghai factory has been tight.

Apple sold 13 million units of the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus during the launch weekend and had a T3 2015 with record revenues/profits/sales (of iPhone terminals), so probably for the winter holidays it already has enough stocks and it does not need to be completed with a large number of units.

It is unlikely that Apple will sell fewer iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus this year than iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus last year, but anything is possible.
