Apple has made a major change for the App Store

search App StoreThis week the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), made major changes to the algorithms based on which the searches are made App Store for applications, seriously changing the way applications are promoted.

According to those who analyzed these changes, the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), has changed the way its system displays applications based on searches for keywords, so that now only the keywords established by developers for applications are taken into account for searches.

Search results now take into account app keywords, partial keyword matches, competing app names, and description keywords, so searches for generic words will now show new apps.

Basically, Apple changed the application search system to provide more relevant results for what users are actually looking for and to help easier discovery of relevant applications for certain searches, something that does not happen.

It's their attempt at understanding how different apps rank relative to each other. I think this is an attempt to move in that direction...the first step would probably be to benchmark where you rank compared to your competitors.

This is the first time that Apple looks at the search system of the App Store applications in such a way, and some analysts are of the opinion that these are the first steps that Apple takes towards the development of a search engine similar to Google's.

Until one thing, another, when you search for various words in the App Store, you will see applications much more relevant to what interests you.
