The A9 chip is humiliated in terms of performance

A9 humiliatedLast week, we presented you with a graph in which it is shown to us as the new one A9 chip developed by the Apple company for iPhone 6S si 6S iPhone Plus it is superior in performance to chips developed for future Android terminals.

I told you then that this supremacy is limited only to single-core tests, i.e. the processing power of each core in a processor, the A9 chip having a processor with two cores and a lot of processor power, the chips for Android having multiple processors that are not as powerful.

Although at first glance it seems that Apple wins, in reality in a multithreading test the chips for Android terminals win, humiliating the A9 chip developed by the Apple company, and the image above shows as well as possible the situation in which the Cupertino component is located.

Basically, Apple's A9 chip gets a score of 4400 in the test made above, the chip Snapdragon 820 obtaining 5300 points, while Exynos 8890 Samsung's gets 7400 points, these two chips will be found in most Android terminals released next year.

As you can see, the difference is enormous between Apple's chip and Samsung's, the product of the Korean company being stronger than the chip A9X of iPad Pro, obtaining a score of approximately 5400 points in the tests, so it performs better than the Snapdragon 820.

If we are completely honest, it was expected that next year's Android terminals will have better performance than iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, but the difference between A9 and Exynos 8890 is over 70% and that says a lot about what we will see a Samsung Galaxy S7.

Considering that most of today's applications know how to use multithreading and that in a system like Android this function is essential to benefit from the entire functionality, so it will be interesting to see what performance boost Apple will come up with.
