iPad Pro has 3D Touch thanks to Apple Pencil

Apple Pencil 3D Touch iPad ProAlthough official iPad Pro no Touch 3D implemented by the Apple company, a hacker managed to modify the iOS to record the interaction with Apple Pencil and create a 3D Touch system similar to the one in iPhone 6S.

The hack in the video clip below was possible because the Apple Pencil records the type of pressure that users apply on the iPad Pro screen, the accessory created by the Apple company having a series of sensors capable of detecting the type of pressure applied on the screen.

Using this hack on the iPad Pro, the Peek or Pop gestures available in iOS 9 for the iPhone 6S can be played, the Apple Pencil being a rather complicated tool for interacting with the screen in such a way, but in native 3D Touch, anything is good.

At the moment, a stylus can be used in a similar way on the iPhone 6S to control 3D Touch, and this hack could also reach other tablets along with support for the Apple Pencil, and from here a multitude of opportunities are opened for those who want 3D Touch but don't have the latest iPhone model.

The code necessary to implement this hack in the iPad Pro is available in this page, but of course a normal user will not know how to use it to benefit from this functionality on their own iPad Pro tablet, as it is very complicated to use.
