Speedtest.net is the most popular website for checking internet speeds using computers, tablets or smartphones, and in the not too distant future it will make the transition to HTML 5.
At the moment the Speedtest.net website uses flash for the interface that allows the selection of servers through which the speed tests are performed and the animations with the speed or the results are displayed, but HTML5 will run everything in the future.
Those at Speedtest.net have created a special website in which anyone can test their internet speed using an interface created only in HTML5, requiring fewer resources to function, while being accessible from any type of mobile terminal.
Without announcing a possible timeline for the transition from flash to HTML5, the creators of Speedtest.net are currently testing the new version of their website to see what kind of problems users encounter, and when everything is ready everyone will see it instead of the old one.
