Yesterday I told you that Vodafone accuses Telekom of blocking a phone number used in a promotional campaign of attracting customers, so that all those who used the services Telekom they couldn't call that phone number.
Today those from Telekom defends himself by saying that following some investigations they discovered that Vodafone would have violated the provisions of the interconnection agreement between the two companies, so it would have been justified to restrict the access of customers to the respective telephone number.
Those from Telekom also claim that they would have made a prior notification to Vodafone Romania before restricting that number, probably asking them to stop the actions that are contrary to the interconnection agreement between the two operators.
Following the investigations carried out, Telekom Romania Mobile Communications SA restricted its customers' access to the Vodafone number 0722.10.10.10, as it was used for commercial purposes in an advertising campaign in violation of the provisions of the interconnection agreement between the two parties. Telekom Romania Mobile Communications SA took this decision following the prior notification of Vodafone Romania regarding the violation of the obligations of the Interconnection Agreement.
Shortly after Telekom's answer, a new information was published by Vodafone, this time the operator affirming that it did not violate its contractual obligations, more specifically not even those related to the confidentiality of the agreement between them and Telekom.
Vodafone Romania continues to respect its contractual obligations, including those related to the confidentiality of the agreement between the parties, so we leave it to the competent authorities to remedy this situation.
In practice, Telekom and Vodafone are accusing each other of actions that contravene the interconnection agreement signed between them, and those from Vodafone indicate that the competent authorities will be called to solve the problem, but none of the parties clearly say what is at stake.
Basically, what Vodafone is trying to attract new customers from other networks with an offer that allows them to accumulate data traffic when they talk on the network or other networks and yesterday I told you that if Telekom took this measure, then probably the number of those who left from the network is substantial.
