Facebook announced this evening the launch of new functions for the application Facebook Messenger in the idea of giving people more fun during the winter holidays and conversations with various friends.
We start with the function Photo Magic, giving Facebook Messenger users the opportunity to simplify the process of sending photos to friends after various parties or meetings, based on a facial recognition system developed by Facebook.
More precisely, Facebook Messenger requests access to our photo library, analyzes all the images we have saved in the terminals, and based on the analysis, identifies friends who have Facebook accounts and displays alerts to send them the pictures recorded by us.
Next, Facebook Messenger offers us the possibility to customize the interface of conversations with our friends, so we can choose different colors for the conversation bubbles that we see in the application and we can even add nicknames for friends.
In iOS, it is only necessary to click on the name of the person with whom you are having a conversation and from there you can change the pseudonym of that person and the color of the chat bubbles, 15 colors being made available to users at the moment, they cannot be changed or replaced with others .
Going further, those from Facebook have created a series of special emoticons that, when sent, display snowflakes in the chat interface, falling on the entire screen, over the entire conversation held by users, the function being new for Messenger.
Finally, Facebook has also re-implemented a function related to friends' avatars, these being transformed into the famous Christmas globes that shake snowflakes when they move, and the animation below shows as well as possible what we receive.
Some of these changes are already available in the Facebook Messenger application, while others will be propagated in the following days.
