iPhone photos year 2015iPhones have the most popular cameras used to upload photos to the famous photo sharing network Flickr, a series of data published today by the website proving that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), still holds the supremacy in terms of recording pictures published online.

Flickr is one of the largest, if not the largest, photo sharing network on the planet, and various models of the Apple iPhone occupy the first positions in the list of smartphones with which the photos published on the network were recorded during the year 2015.

As you can see in the image below, the iPhone 6 is the most popular smartphone in terms of photos uploaded to Flickr in 2015, being responsible for 5% of them, the iPhone 5S following closely behind with 4.9%, the iPhone 5 totaling 4.2% of the total.

The 4th, 5th and 6th places remain for Apple with the iPhone 4S, iPhone 4 and iPhone 6 Plus terminals, the Canon EOS 5D Mark II being placed in the 7th position, the iPhone 5C in the 8th, the Canon EOS Rebel T3i in the 9th, the top being closed by Canon EOS 5D Mark III.

Apple's competing companies only appear in the 11th position, the Samsung Galaxy S4 being present there, the iPad tablet also having more photos uploaded to Flickr than the Samsung Galaxy S III, the rest of the devices being newer or older DSLRs, so as expected.

Those from Flickr did not provide details regarding the number of photos uploaded by users in their network, but considering the popularity of the service, we are most likely talking about several billion, the service being extremely popular abroad.
