RCS & RDS 2016 began with new prices for Fiberlink fixed internet subscriptions, so that all interested customers will benefit from higher internet browsing speeds at lower prices than in the past.
The change has, apparently, nothing to do with VAT reduction from 24% to 20% which entered into force on January 1, those from RCS & RDS having this new subscription offer available only at the points of presence, they are not listed on the company's website.
Based on the changes made by RCS & RDS for the prices of Fiberlink fixed internet subscriptions, the Fiberlink 300 subscription can be contracted at the price of 29 LEI instead of 39 LEI how much it costs until January 1, the discount being a substantial one.
If Fiberlink 500, the subscription price will be 39 LEI starting this year, 6 LEI lower than until the beginning of the year, the price of Fiberlink 1000 also dropping from 55 LEI to 45 LEI from January, the speeds offered remaining unchanged.
All these changes are not visible on the RCS & RDS website and have not been publicly announced through a press release, but they are valid in the points of presence that you will have to visit to ask to be apply one of the offers.
To be able to benefit from it, you will have to extend your fixed internet subscription at that point of presence, and some users have reported that the change would be possible including through DigiCare, but otherwise you will have to visit a physical point.
