One out of 5 Romanians has at least 3 gadgets for surfing the Internet

According to last year's statistics, it seems that one out of 5 Romanians has at least 3 gadgets for surfing the Internet.

Last year, Romania successfully crossed the threshold of 80 million internet subscriptions. It is clear and obvious that more and more Romanians use three or more devices to surf the Internet, at home or at work.

Things changed quickly, for example in 2005 only 30% of urban Romanians had a computer, and only 1% a laptop. The statistics of 2011 say that more than half had a computer at home, a quarter a laptop, 10% smartphones and 2% tablets. Over time, not surprisingly, 10% gave up the computer, but 34% have a laptop, 38% a smartphone, 14% a tablet and 12% a Smart TV.

5 years ago, over 75% of the population of Romanian cities used only one device. Now, the percentage has dropped below 50%. At the other pole, the number of Internet users who use at least 3 different devices increased from 4% to 20%. The peak being 33% in Bucharest, obviously.
Now the average is 1,8 gadgets used by a single user in the urban environment and 1,7 in the rural environment.
