Digi Mobil will not allow free calls to Wind Italia

Digi Mobil 4G unlimited internetDigi Mobil will no longer allow customers to make free calls in the Wind Italia mobile network starting from February 2016, Wind being one of the networks that extremely many Romanians in Italy use to talk on the phone.

The information is not publicly provided by Digi Mobil, but I have it from 2 sources, two SMS sent by Digi Mobil and a representative of the company. My mother is a subscriber Digi Mobil Optimum Unlimited and she received an SMS by which she was informed that afree calls in the Wind Italia network will no longer be possible, for her, from February 5, a representative of RCS & RDS confirming the information at a point of presence.

Calls to the Wind Italia network will be possible, for her, after February 5, but the customer will have to pay the counter value per minute of call for each call, so basically Digi Mobil again breaks its promise to offer unlimited calls in Europe.

The date of February 5 is given to my mother because that is the billing date, so the day could be different for some, otherwise from then on no one will be able to do free calls in the Wind network through Digi Mobil subscriptions which offers unlimited minutes or maybe even included minutes.

The explanation provided for the removal of Wind Italia from the list of operators that can be contacted free calls through Digi Mobil subscriptions it was like certain contracts between Digi Mobil and that operator were terminated, so you will be able to make free calls with the rest of the operators in Italy within the limits imposed by Digi Mobil.

The typical part for RCS & RDS was that in one of the two SMSes sent to announce this change, it was mentioned that in case of dissatisfaction, the contract can be terminated without further questions, which calls into question the seriousness of an operator known for the fact that does not respect its contractual provisions.

Digi Mobil Optim Nelimitat was initially launched with unlimited minutes in Europe and reached be limited to 3000 minutes more than a year ago, and now it disappears from its offer, probably the most used mobile phone network by Romanians, and the suggestion is to go elsewhere.

The truth is that you can't expect much from Digi Mobil, you pay 5 euros and you get extremely bad services, but I'll talk about that in another article.
