How addicted are Romanians to smartphones and tablets?

I know many people who panic at the thought that one day they might forget their phone at home. This is not because they would not be able to contact their bosses, parents, etc., but because they would no longer be able to occupy their free time with social networks.

You did this imagination exercise, did you think about what would happen if you forgot your phone at home? What would you discover? Do you shrug carelessly or do you panic at the idea of not having your phone for almost a whole day!?

For those at Ernst&Young, it is clear that most of us are addicted to everything that means mobile devices, more precisely to smartphones and tablets. They did a study in which they quantified exactly how dependent we are on mobile devices.

Studies have shown that many Romanians do not let half an hour pass after waking up without touching their smartphone, and a third do not even get to wash their face or eat breakfast. There is nothing exaggerated, it really is!

Romanians, like other nations, use their smartphones everywhere, from the moment they open their eyes until the evening, and check them dozens and hundreds of times a day. Digital mobility and connectivity have become a very important part in personal life, but also in the business environment.

In Romania there are around 7,5 million smart phones, which means that at least three million Romanians are connected to technology between 2 and 6 hours a day.

The most sought-after information would be that from the media and at the opposite pole, the Ernst&Young study shows that fields such as construction, real estate, leasing, insurance are the least interesting.

Would you last a day without your mobile phone?
