F.lux creators talk about iOS 9.3 Night Shift

F.lux is an application created for iOS and OS X, it allows users to change the temperature of the colors displayed on the screens of the terminals, the idea behind the function being to help us protect our eyes at night when we use the terminals.

F.lux was copied by Apple which launched in iOS 9.3 the Night Shift function, it works exactly the same, and now the creators of the original application claim that Apple should recognize the fact that the innovation was theirs and allow them to publish their F.lux application in the App Store.

Moreover, the creators of F.lux ask Apple to provide access to the APIs that control the Night Shift function so that they and other developers can benefit from the functionality of this option and create applications for it, but of course that this it will not happen.

We are proud that we are the original innovators and leaders in this area. In our continued work over the last seven years, we have learned how complicated people actually are. The next phase of f.lux is something we cannot wait to ship to the world.

If any person imagines that Apple will respond to these requests and provide access to the Night Shift APIs or allow the publication of the F.Lux application in the App Store, well, they are sorely mistaken, and this is because Apple does not interact with developers from which steals functions and implements them in iOS.
