Homefront fans will be able to play the second game in the series: The Revolution this year, starting on 17 May. The launch will take place in North America, followed by Europe 20th May 2016, in versions for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Of course, a new trailer was also released on this occasion.
The action of The Revolution will take place in the future, in the year 2029, when the forces North Korea rule the American territories. The story takes place in the American state Philadelphia, location where the player will have to start the revolution against the communists. Unlike its predecessor, The Revolution will be based on uin an open-world game environment, where battles and exchanges of fire will be dynamic, without being scripted!
