When is iOS 9.2.1 released? I have received this question quite often in recent days, and this is because Apple released more than two weeks ago the last beta version for this update of the iOS 9 operating system offered to owners of iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches.
The release of iOS 9.2.1 is most likely prepared by the Apple company at the moment and the update could be available today or in the next few days because now all the attention of users is directed towards iOS 9.3, this though iOS release 9.3 it is quite far.
Apple has been testing iOS 9.2.1 for some time and because we are talking about an intermediate update of lesser importance, there are no reasons to do so iOS release 9.2.1 to be postponed by the Apple company until later next week, this in order to focus everyone's attention on iOS 9.3.
The existence of two separate beta versions for the iOS operating system is a rather unusual situation because most people have made the switch to iOS 9.3 and few people are still testing iOS 9.2.1, so Apple has little to gain by keeping this update in beta stage.
Having said that, my opinion is that the release of iOS 9.2.1 will take place very soon, but unfortunately you cannot expect to receive who knows what important news because Apple has not prepared anything important for us.
