pplkpr (People Keeper) – The application that tells you who to be friends with and who not

I find it very funny that there is an application that can "tell" you who to be friends with and who not, who is healthy to interact with and who is not.

The application “pplkpr"pronounced"People's Keeper" monitors the user's heart rate and detects even the most subtle changes in his emotional state, when he is in the company of friends.
Thus, the application can detect friends who can harm the health of the user.

The application was developed by Kyle McDonald and Lauren McCarthy from New York, and was tested last year on a large scale by a group of students from Carnegie Mellon University.

The application practically works in collaboration with any kind of device that monitors heart rate and can be activated via Bluetooth. It monitors and then records the heart rate and if it notices any change, it "asks" the user to tell him how he feels, where he is and whose company he is with.

In fact, the algorithm on which the application works associates emotions with people known to the user.

From the friend list of a user, the Pplkpr application identifies the people who make him feel happy, who calm him down, but also the people who cause him stress and panic or even fear.

I think it's very cool, the application can do what in general some people are crazy to do, it can delete and block people who make us instantly restless or bored, and even send messages to those who calm us down and make us we feel happy.

application is available for free for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
