Apple Watch and Apple TV recorded record sales

Although the sales of iPhone terminals no longer register the increases of last year, company Apple still struck with the Apple Watch and Apple TV 4, registering these two products record sales for those from Cupertino, or at least that's what Tim Cook said last evening.

Tim Cook stated that Apple Watch recorded record sales in December of last year and that's because the product was one of the buyers' favorites to give gifts around Christmas, but of course no sales figures were given.

The Apple Watch was sold at significant discounts both during Black Friday and around Christmas, so it is normal to talk about record sales for this product since its basic price has dropped by half in many cases.

Apple TV 4 was launched by the Apple company at the end of last year and because we are talking about a completely new product, it was normal for the sales to be high at the beginning, but even in this case the Apple company did not provide details regarding the number of units sold all around the world.

Although Apple does not say clearly how many units of the Apple Watch or Apple TV 4 have been sold around the world, because these figures are certainly much lower than the tens of millions of units expected by analysts, those from Cupertino integrate the receipts in the category Other of tax returns.

In Q4 2014, the Apple company reported revenues of 2.7 billion dollars in the category Other, which included the Apple TV 3, and in Q4 2015 the receipts in this category increased to 4.35 billion dollars, so we are talking about 1.65 billion dollars more sales thanks to the Apple Watch and Apple TV 4.
